The Munsters or The Addams Family?

Just wondering if anyone has a preference betwixt The Munsters or The Addams Family?.Possibly you like both or peradventure you similar neither.

I haven't seen many Addams Family episodes only i prefer The Munsters.

    Addams Family for me too..darker and funnier than the Munsters.

    I did like both only the Addams Family unit had a better them melody !

    Addams Family definitely always wanted to alive in their business firm and wanted Gomez as my dad

  • I like both (and have both on dvd) but The Munsters just tips it for me!

  • I liked them both merely The Addams Family was the wittier and thus preferable of the two IMO, in a kind of BBC1 vs ITV style.

  • I loved The Munsters when BBC2 were showing it a few years ago. I did lookout man The Addams Family when information technology was shown in the early 90s, but I can't recall enough well-nigh it to class a proper opinion. They need to repeat both shows once again!

  • I don't remember seeing The Addams Family on Television set at all when I was a kid (mid-70s/80s) only I do remember The Munsters. In fact, I think I only saw the b/w series of The Addams Family around the time the films came out. (Tardily 80s/early 90s?)

    Was The Addams family shown on United kingdom television during the the same era as The Munsters, and then? If and so, they completely passed me by.

    I had a friend who fancied the Munster woman (Lily). No accounting for gustation! :D

    The Addams Family were the best because if you run across the reruns on goggle box there is one subtle difference between them The Munsters laugh at their own jokes, Addams Family don't more dead pan, I thought Cousin Information technology was funny & Fester. I have all three series of The Addams family on dvd there is 1 episode where Fester has a blind date its just so funny, anyone interested in the dvd's try Amazon or Play.com :)

    All over the Globe both staple shows for satellite/cablevision TV, except in the UK. Typical:confused:

    l like them both, simply Addams Family just pulls alee.

    That'due south information technology; that's exactly why The Addams Family is better than The Munsters.

    I do enjoy The Munsters, but it's just non as skilful as Addams Family unit.

  • I always find it hilarious when Herman had a tantrum- I don't recall you ever saw Gomez doing annihilation like that! Though they were dissimilar shows, so mayhap it isn't far to try and compare them likewise much.

  • Addams Family unit is a chip more "out there" than the Munsters, But the Munsters has the better gags. And Herman is just ace :D

  • I loved both series - the original B&W versions, that is.
    But out of the two - I would say "THE MUNSTERS"!!
    Herman always made me laugh....and I used to love Frankenstein back then (I was only about eight! - how did I know frankenstein's monster?...I must have crept downstairs to watch information technology!).

  • I have I preferred The Munsters. That prove had a higher budget. They tended to go outside the house and visit many locations whereas The Addams had people come over to their house.
    Likewise Lily and Marilyn sealed the deal for me.
    I only re-discovered the shows lately.

  • I like both but adopt the Addams. I always wished I had a family like them and the Addams kids are much nicer than the so called "normal" kids. I've heard them being described in adverts as a dysfunctional family unit but I would say the opposite is truthful - they all expect out for each other.
